Short answers to the things that actually go wrong, and the page that fixes the one that goes wrong most.

The one that comes up most

Paying on the website and paying in the app are two different rails, and the fix for one is no use at all for the other.

You paid, and Premium is not showing

There are two answers, and the wrong one will not work

If you paid here, the fix is signing in with the address you paid with. If you paid in the app, only your phone can see that purchase. One page, both answers, labelled.

Paying, Premium and cancelling

All study features are currently free. Existing subscriptions remain managed through the provider where they were purchased.

What does Premium actually add?
All study features are currently free, including the hazard library, available 3D scenes and repeat mocks. A future continuation limit will be based on study progress; its percentage has not been set. Existing subscriptions and receipts can still be managed in your account.
Where do I cancel?
It depends where you bought it, and this is the sentence that is worth reading twice. Bought on this website: Premium in your account, which is also where invoices and the payment method live. Bought in the app: the App Store or Google Play holds that subscription and only they can cancel it — we cannot, and we do not pretend to.
Do I lose anything when I cancel?
Premium runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing is taken before then. Afterwards you keep every answer you have given, your streak, your test date, your predicted score and the whole free tier. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not undo your work.
I paid but Premium is not showing.
That has two different fixes depending on where you paid, and the wrong one will not work. There is a page for it: help, then “Premium is not showing”.
Could I be charged twice?
Checkout checks the signed-in account for existing access before opening payment. Separate accounts or simultaneous purchases can still cause a duplicate. If that happens, keep both receipts and contact support; do not buy again to try to restore access.
Who takes the payment?
Dodo Payments, as merchant of record, so Dodo is the name that appears on your bank statement rather than Lanekind. Your card number never reaches us: the card fields belong to them.

Your account, and your work

An account is an upgrade and never a gate. Nothing on this site is behind a sign-up wall.

Do I need an account?
Not to study. Everything works from the first visit and your answers are kept in this browser. You need one to pay, because a payment has to belong to somebody — and we make it from the email you give at the checkout.
Will signing up start me again?
No. The account attaches to the work already in this browser: your answers, your streak, your test date and anything you flagged come with you. That is the whole reason we ask for the email before the card.
How do I use it on my phone as well?
Sign in on both devices with the same account and let sync finish. Completed answers, results and your plan can then appear on both. An unfinished session or mock draft is saved on the device where you started it, so finish it there before moving screens.
I bought Premium in the app without an email. Can I use it here?
Yes, once the purchase has an address attached to it. Open the app, go to You, then Premium, and use “Use Premium on the website”. It does not change what you pay — it is the same subscription on more screens.

Studying, and how the plan is built

You answer three questions once. After that nothing asks you to decide what to revise.

How long is a session?
Choose 15 minutes, 30 or 45. This is the budget used to compose the questions, not a timer forcing you to finish: you can take longer to read and answer.
Why am I seeing a question I have already answered?
Because it was due. Get one wrong, anywhere in the app, and it is back the next day. Get it right on the day it is due and you do not see it for 3 days, then 7 days, then a single check 21 days after that. A question you never get wrong is seen 4 times in total, and is then finished for good.
I moved my test date. Does everything change?
Yes, and that is the point. The plan is built backwards from the date, so moving it re-paces every session between now and then. Nothing you have already answered is affected.
What does the percentage mean?
It is an estimate from your question answers across your licence’s topics, with older evidence carrying less weight. It stays hidden until there are at least 60 answers covering at least half the topics. The pass threshold follows your selected licence, including the separate ADI bands. A prediction is not a guarantee of passing.
Are the mock tests the real format?
They use the published multiple-choice question counts, pass thresholds and time limits: car 50 questions, 43 to pass in 57 minutes; lorry/bus 100, 85 to pass in 115 minutes. ADI also requires its band minima. These revision-bank mocks do not yet reproduce every video or case-study section of the official examination, and hazard perception is separate.
Does it work with no signal?
The phone app includes its questions, signs and Highway Code for offline study, and downloaded hazard clips work offline too. Streaming video and driving scenes need a connection. This website keeps your answers locally, but loading pages or a new session can still need the network; use the phone app when you need dependable offline study.

Privacy, data and adverts

There are no adverts anywhere in this product, free or paid, and there is no third party buying what you got wrong.

Are there adverts?
No, on either side of the line. Premium does not remove adverts, because there were never any to remove.
What do you do with my email address?
Your address is used for account access and essential service or payment messages. The privacy policy describes the providers involved and how to request a copy or deletion.
Can I get my data out, or delete it?
Yes to both, from your account. Deleting takes the answers with it — that is what deleting means — and it is asked as a question you have to confirm rather than a button you can brush past.
Are the questions really the DVSA’s?
Revision material from the imported DVSA bank includes source-checked Lanekind learning corrections. These corrections are not newly issued official examination questions, and practice does not reproduce a live test paper. Lanekind is not a DVSA product and is not endorsed by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency.

Where to go next

Everything below is a real page, free to read, and none of it asks you to sign in.

If none of this answers it, write to us. We can see a payment even when your app cannot, so say which email address you paid with and we will find it.
