Terms of use
Lanekind is a revision app for the UK driving theory test. These are the terms you accept by using it, written in the plainest English we could manage.
Who you are agreeing with
These terms are between you and MELIORAPPS INTERACTIVE S.R.L.
“Lanekind”, “we” and “us” below mean the company running this site and the Lanekind mobile apps. “You” means whoever is reading, whether or not you have linked an email address. Lanekind can create an anonymous account for your progress, and these terms apply either way.

What Lanekind is
Question pack 0A third-party revision product built on official material, and not an official product.
Lanekind licenses the DVSA’s revision question bank and reproduces the Highway Code and the road signs that go with it. The pack this site is serving holds 2,897 questions, 310 Highway Code rules and 253 road signs.
Lanekind is not a DVSA product and is not endorsed by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency. Nothing you do here books, sits or passes a theory test. The only test that counts is the one you book with the DVSA, and nothing on this site can change its result.
The Highway Code is Crown copyright and is reproduced under the Open Government Licence. The DVSA question bank is licensed and is not covered by that licence — see what you may do with the material below.
Studying before and after linking your email
You can begin without an email address. Linking one lets you recover your account on another device.
You can study without providing your name or email address. The app creates an anonymous identity, and progress can sync under that identity. Linking your email attaches it to your existing work so you can recover that account. The privacy policy explains the records involved.
You are responsible for the address you give us and for anyone who can unlock the device you leave signed in. Signing out is not account deletion. Signing in with a different account keeps its progress separate.
Lanekind is intended for people preparing for a driving theory test and is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before making a purchase.
Current study access and subscriptions
Current accessAll study features are currently free.
You do not need a paid subscription to use the current study features. Free access does not cancel a subscription you previously bought. You can review or cancel an existing subscription through the seller that took payment.
If a paid offer is available, its price, billing period, renewal and any trial terms are shown before you confirm the purchase. A recurring subscription renews under those terms until cancelled. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your revision progress.
Paying, and the card we never see
New web checkout is currently disabled. Existing subscriptions are managed by the seller that took payment.

- New web purchases are disabled. Dodo Payments handles any existing web subscription and its receipts as merchant of record; Lanekind does not receive card numbers.
- In the iPhone or Android app
- Apple or Google takes the payment under their own terms, and the subscription is managed in the App Store or Google Play rather than here.
- Either way
- RevenueCat records that you are entitled to Premium and the app reads that record. It is what lets a subscription bought on a phone unlock the same account on this site.
Because Lanekind never handles card details, we cannot see, store or charge a card, and we cannot answer a question about your bank’s decision. What we can do is tell you what we were told: whether the payment settled, and whether Premium is on.
For a paid purchase, the seller’s checkout and receipt show the price, billing period and any applicable taxes before payment is confirmed.
Cancelling, and getting money back
Cancelling is done where the payment was taken, and it never costs you your work.
A subscription bought on this website is cancelled through Dodo Payments; one bought in the app is cancelled in the App Store or Google Play. We are not able to cancel a store subscription on your behalf, which is why the app says so plainly rather than letting you find out from a bank statement.
Deleting your Lanekind account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Manage or cancel it in the relevant store to stop future renewals.
Deleting a Lanekind account also requests cancellation of an existing web subscription. A payment-provider outage does not hold up account erasure: we retain a minimal cancellation record for retries and review until the provider confirms cancellation. A request is not confirmation that renewal has stopped. Check the seller’s subscription portal or contact us if cancellation is pending.
Cancelling takes nothing away from what you have already done. Your answers and progress stay. Any paid entitlement ends according to the seller’s cancellation terms; current free study access is unchanged.
Refund requests for App Store or Google Play purchases go to the relevant store. For a web purchase, contact Dodo Payments or contact-us@lanekind.co.uk. Eligibility depends on the purchase, the seller’s terms and applicable law. Nothing here removes your statutory cancellation or refund rights.
What you may do with the material
Revise with all of it. Republishing it is a different thing entirely.
You may read, search, answer and re-answer everything in Lanekind as much as you like, on as many of your own devices as you like, for as long as you are revising. That is what it is for.
You may not copy the question bank out in bulk, scrape it, resell it, or republish it as your own revision material. The questions are licensed to Lanekind, not to you, and that licence does not travel. Automated requests made at a rate no person could read at are treated as bulk copying whether or not that was the intention.
The Highway Code text is a different case: it is Crown copyright, reproduced under the Open Government Licence, and that licence lets you reuse the text yourself on its own terms. The layout, the writing around it, the artwork and the software are not covered by it.
What Lanekind does not promise
Two of these are worth reading even if you skip everything else on this page.
It cannot promise you will pass. The predicted score is an estimate worked out from your own answers, and it is deliberately withheld until there are enough of them to mean anything. It is a reading of your revision, not a forecast of a morning at a test centre.
The material follows the DVSA’s published bank and can lag it. When the DVSA revises a question or the Highway Code changes, Lanekind follows in a content update; the pack serving this page is version 0. If something here and something official disagree, the official one is right.
The service can be interrupted — for maintenance, because something upstream is down, or because something broke. We do not promise it will always be available, and where a feature is not available on the platform you are using, the product says so where you reach it rather than after you have paid.
Ending it
You can leave completely at any moment, and it is a button rather than an email.
We may suspend or end access where these terms are broken — bulk copying of the question bank, automated abuse of the free endpoints, or an attempt to take somebody else’s account or subscription. Any payment dispute or refund remains subject to the seller’s terms and your statutory rights.
Liability, and the law that applies
Your mandatory consumer rights remain protected.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited. Nothing in them takes away your rights as a consumer under UK law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova. Disputes may be brought before the competent courts in Chisinau, Moldova. This does not deprive you of mandatory protections under the law of the country where you live, or of any right to bring a consumer claim in your local courts.
Changes, and getting in touch
One date governs all three of these documents.
These terms were last updated on 16 September 2026. Updated terms are published here with a new date. We will give any additional notice required by law for material changes. You can stop using Lanekind and request account deletion at any time.
