A motorcycle towing a small trailer must have an engine of at least 125 cc: exactly 125 cc meets this minimum. The trailer must be no wider than 1 metre, and its loaded weight must not exceed 150 kg or two-thirds of the motorcycle’s kerbside weight, whichever is lower. Check the other towing, marking and licence requirements before riding.
