You're teaching your pupil how to reverse a car into a side road on the left. What should you teach them to do if the rear nearside tyre gently touches the kerb?

If a pupil makes a small positioning error while reversing, they should stop, re-observe and correct it safely before it develops. The current car test does not include reversing left into a side road as a prescribed manoeuvre; this remains a general control-and-observation exercise.
