For the STGO-authorised exceptional-width class above 4.3 metres and up to 6.1 metres, Article 30 sets 40 mph on motorways, 35 mph on dual carriageways and 30 mph on other roads. A lower limit imposed elsewhere still applies. The actual authorisation and all its conditions are needed; these numbers do not independently permit the movement.
