Multiple fixed axles cannot all follow the same radius in a tight turn, so tyres can scrub sideways. Michelin describes unequal wear on three-fixed-axle trailers during cornering and manoeuvring. Use a controlled low speed, minimise unnecessarily tight turns and follow the vehicle’s axle instructions. This is not a claim that every tri-axle bus, including one with a steered tag axle, behaves identically.
