Plan site routes to keep road-going vehicles clear of mud. Where wheels or ledges can collect it, provide a wheel wash before exit and arrangements for prompt road cleaning. Inspect for trapped debris as well as dirt. Mud on a public road can create a dangerous slippery surface; report unsafe deposits and arrange their removal rather than simply continuing the journey.
