Wear a fitted belt unless an actual exemption applies. A reversing driver may remove it for the manoeuvre. The goods-delivery exemption is limited to journeys of no more than 50 metres between delivery stops; it is not permission for an ordinary bus journey. A medical exemption needs a valid certificate, carried in the vehicle and shown to police on request. Discomfort is not an exemption.
