Read the reviewed summary

Poles, tubes and girders can generate enough forward force in a stop to break through a headboard. Their shape and low friction require a suitable load plan, physical restraint and correctly rated securing equipment. Brake early and smoothly, but do not rely on careful driving to replace restraint.
