The available load allowance is the permitted maximum mass minus mass already accounted for, including fuel, people and equipment. A remaining axle may become overloaded after part of the load is delivered, even though total mass falls. Redistribute and secure the remaining load according to the plan; check gross and individual axle limits. Overloading compromises braking and damages roads.
