Cab height and bodywork can hide people and vehicles close to the front or sides. A sleeper cab can add substantial blind areas. Know the view from your actual vehicle, use every relevant mirror and look directly where safe; a brief sideways check can reveal traffic beside the cab that the mirrors miss. Added cameras and mirrors do not justify assuming every area is visible.
