The illustrated blue rectangular sign marks a with-flow lane for the displayed users: local buses, pedal cycles and taxis. The word local limits the bus permission to local services; a private coach must not assume it qualifies. Check any operating times. A contraflow sign shows opposing traffic direction, and this sign does not give unconditional priority at junctions.
