Use the manufacturer’s tyre pressure for the load, checking weekly when cold. Under- or over-inflation impairs braking and steering. Car and light-trailer tread must be at least 1.6 mm across the central three-quarters around the whole circumference. Repair cuts, defects and causes of uneven wear promptly.
