Revision question · Drivers' hours and rest periods
Revision material from the imported DVSA bank includes source-checked Lanekind learning corrections. These corrections are not newly issued official examination questions, and practice does not reproduce a live test paper.
Under EU rules, your normal daily driving time mustn't exceed nine hours. This nine-hour period is defined as the time between
• any two daily rest periods, or
• a daily rest period and a weekly rest period.
You're allowed to extend these hours to 10 hours twice a week.
