Opening You
An account is a copy of what you already have. Nothing is replaced, nothing starts again, and the account underneath is the one this browser has been using all along.
Apple, Google and email have equal weight. Nothing changes until the method you choose has proved who you are.
Signing in on a device that already has your account is the other case, and it is a different button — go back and choose I already have an account.
This adds an address to the account you already have. It is the same account, with a name on it, and nothing starts again.
We use the address to sign you in and for nothing else. There is no newsletter, no marketing and no third party, and you can delete the whole account from this browser whenever you like.
